PIERCE, OWEN "JR," 87, passed away on February 9, 2011.
He was a retired Ft. Knox civil service employee, a member of the former St. Clement Catholic Church and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 64 years, Roselyn (Clemons) Pierce; his children, Michael Keith and Kathryn Gail Pierce; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his brother Benjamin Pierce; and sister, Bernadette Strickland.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 8 p.m. Thursday.
