Beloved husband of Clare (Hanbury) Cunningham of Quincy, Brother of Paul Cunningham of Dennis, Sr. Mary Frances Cunningham of Rumford, RI and Richard Cunningham of Boston. Brother - in - law of Diane Leger and Uncle of Jonathan Leger both of Canton.
Jack graduated from Boston College Class of 1962. He furthered his education at Boston State and U Mass - Graduate school of education. He taught history at various Boston schools - including East Boston High School, South Boston High School and Boston Latin. He served as a teachers union rep. during forced busing at South Boston High School. He retired from teaching back in 2000. Jack also worked at Feenan Financial part time. Jack was in the National Guard and was a boating and sports enthusiast.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 9AM.
Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Thursday 3-7 PM.
Burial will be private.
