Angelo C. Reale, 66, of Danvers, died at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Linda (Chute) Reale, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.
Born in Cambridge on Nov. 22, 1944, he was the son of Charles Reale of Revere and the late Lucille (Gentile) (Reale) Bonhomme. He was raised and educated in Cambridge and had lived in greater Boston all his life and had been a Danvers resident for the last twelve years.
Mr. Reale had been employed for over forty years at Raytheon, most recently at the Andover plant. Additionally, he had been employed for more than thirty years at Hotwatt in Danvers.
He had recently enjoyed a special trip to Graceland.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Angelo Reale Jr. and his wife Dawn of Danvers and Roland Reale and his wife Lauren of Ipswich, two sisters, Genevieve Reale of Salem and Marie Reale of Plymouth, three grandchildren, Justin and Melissa Reale of Ipswich and Eric Neal of Middleton, and several nieces and nephews including George Reale of Salem and his wife Robin.
His Funeral Service will be Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow at 1PM in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Reale’s memory may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
