Geraldine Smith Lightfoot, 77, of Tifton died Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at Tift Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Dr. Danny Ray will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lightfoot was born on August 17, 1933 in Beaverton, Michigan and was the daughter of Percy Eric Smith and Julia Ann Cullen Smith, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wendell Lightfoot; two brothers, Edward Smith and Max Smith; and one sister, Doris Smith. She was a homemaker and served in the United States Army.
Mrs. Lightfoot is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Robert C. and Linda Kay Lightfoot of Waycross and Major Michael P. and Kathy Lightfoot of Niceville, Florida; and one brother, Jack Smith of Beaverton, Michigan.
