Bennie Austin Harrison, 78, Clarksville, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating and music by Jeff Akin. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born February 10, 1932 in Cunningham, TN, the son of Jake Washington Harrison and Florence Elizabeth McWhorter Harrison. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Carl Wesley Harrison. He was the owner of Ben's Auto Parts. Bennie and his wife Edna were the owner's of the home on Hampshire Drive with the beautiful Christmas scenes. Bennie is survived by his wife Edna Chester Harrison of Clarksville, three step-daughters Violetta Lynn (Mike)Bible of Rockwood, TN, Debbie (Nelson) Kennedy and Brenda Moss both of Clarksville, six step grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Herbert Marquess, Ed Billotte, Nelson Kennedy, Brandon Kennedy, Matt Migliaccio, Mike Bible, Clyde Smothers and Jeff Melton.
