Obituary

Marblehead: Anita C. (LeClerc) Belliveau age 93 a resident of Herrick House in Beverly and former resident of Marblehead, died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Eldridge C. Belliveau.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late George and Alexina (Gauthier) LeClerc. Anita and her husband moved to Marblehead from Salem in the early 1950’s, and lived there until 2007 when she moved to the Herrick House.

Anita is survived by a son, Dr. Robert E. Belliveau and his wife Merrilyn of Manchester by the Sea, 3 grandchildren, Robin Macleod of Medfield, Laurie Rousseau of Kennebunkport, ME, Justin Belliveau of Salt Lake City, UT as well as six great-grandchildren, Robert, Phoebe & Hannah Macleod, Sophie & Whitney Rousseau, Nolan Belliveau, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Leo, Rene, Roland & Lucien LeClerc, four sisters, Evelyn Girard, Lillian Martineau, Laurette Partridge & Ida Erwin.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 10 A.M. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 85 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead to be followed by burial in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
