Michelle P. Callahan age 50, of Brockton died Sunday February 6, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. She was the loving daughter of Andrea M. (Rodrigue) Callahan and the late Edward V. Callahan, Sr. Michelle had attended the physically handicapped class at the Downey Elementary School and had been a member of the former Greater Brockton United Cerebral Palsy Association. She had also attended the Adult Daycare Center in Brockton and had been a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Michelle enjoyed playing with her dogs Pepe and Buffy. She loved swimming at Brockton High School, bowling and eating out. Michelle had a remarkable memory and could remember everyone she met and always had a joke for them.
She had traveled to Lourdes in France and Disney World.
In addition to her mother Michelle is survived by her brother Edward V. “Ned” Callahan, Jr. and his wife Angel of Glenburn, Maine and three nephews Zachary, Matthew and Noah Callahan. She leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend Rev. Thomas Wyndham.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church W. Bridgewater at 9 am. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11am. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 pm.
