Obituary

Philomena M. (Falco) Gullifa, a long-time Medford resident died peacefully with her family by her side Saturday morning at the Glen Ridge Nursing Center. She was 95.

Philomena was the daughter of the late Anielo and Antonetta Falco. A devoted wife and mother, Philomena enjoyed the company of her large family and many friends. She was a joy to be with and had a great love for her family.

The beloved wife of the late James Gullifa, she was a devoted mother to William Gullifa and his late wife Triena of Reading, Josephine Thompson and her husband James of Medford, and Vincent Gullifa of Stoneham. She was a loving grandmother to Jamie and his wife Rebecca, Heather and her husband David, Billy and his wife Maureen, Michael and his wife Katheryn, Anthony and his wife Liana and a loving great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren. She was a dear sister to Maria Archambault, Millie Durbak, John and Pumzy Falco, the late Celia Higgins, Josephine Anderson, Al, Joey and Nicky Falco and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
