Mr. George R. Campbell of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts to the late Samuel and Rose (Lynch) Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was educated in the local grammar schools of Lowell and was a graduate of the Lowell Technical High School. He was a parishioner of Saint Patrick Church in Lawrence and of the Star of the Sea in York, Maine.
Mr. Campbell worked for Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts for 30 years until his retirement.
He was a member of the Men of Saint Patrick's, Holy Name Society, the Holy Family Men's Guild and of the Saint Patrick's Bowling League.
Mr. Campbell enjoyed spending time at York Beach with his family, he loved to Dance and go bowling. According to his family he was an avid sports fan especially of the Red Sox Team.

His nephews: John W. Simon of Nashua, NH
and Louis Fishera of Ayer, MA.
As well as several other grand nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother John Campbell and his sisters Marie Sears and Eleanor Fishera.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 10th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Patrick Church in Lawrence, MA.
His burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
