Thomas A. Healy, 58, of East Derry, NH died unexpectedly on Saturday February 5, 2011 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. He was born on August 15, 1952 in Bloomfield, CT, a son of the late Thomas P. and Marie (LeBlond) Healy. He was a resident of East Derry for over 30 years, formerly living in Nashua. Mr. Healy devoted his life to serving his country, having retired from the US Air Force as a Tech Sergeant serving with the 157th Logistics Readiness Squadron. He enjoyed shooting, collecting guns, and was an expert marksman.
He is survived by his wife Linda A. (Tarbox) Healy of East Derry, two stepchildren, Cynthia Osgood of Solomons, MD and Stephen Tebo of Atkinson, NH, as well as six step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Kathleen Johnson.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Tuesday February 8, 2011 from 4 - 7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Memorial service was held on Wednesday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial followed in the New Hampshire State veterans Cemetery, Boscawen at 12:00pm.
