Gerald T. Colby, of Billerica, formerly of Charlestown, passed away on Jan. 31, 2011. He was the beloved son of the late Marion (Fitzgerald) and Alfred R. Colby, and the loving partner of Debra Aceto. He was also the devoted brother of Marion Fay of Middleboro, Linda Colby of Swampscott and the late Barbara Young, Albert and Joseph Colby, and is further survived by several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held from the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St., Charlestown, on Monday, Feb. 7, at 9 a.m. His Funeral Mass will be held in St. Francis DeSales Church, Charlestown at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting Hours are Sunday 2-6 p.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Parking area adjacent to funeral home.
