ASHLAND: Joseph W. Linane, 54, died unexpectedly at his residence in Ashland following a period of declining health.
He was born in Milford on August 29, 1956 the son of the late Joseph P. Linane and Rose M. (Tomaso) Linane.
Joe is survived by his longtime companion and best friend Patricia A. Kadlik of Cochituate. He was the brother of Michael Linane of Saugus; Kathy McGill of Medfield; Alfred Linane of Shrewsbury and Thomas F. Linane of Portsmouth, NH. Also survived by many friends, nieces and nephews.
Joe was associated for many years as a Cook with the East Side Café in Millis. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia, enjoyed playing Keno and spending time with his best friend Patty and their many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know Joe.
At Joe’s request there will be no funeral home visitations.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Pond Street, Natick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Joe’s memory may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home of Cochituate.
