Obituary

Mrs. Nora V. (Crowley) Curtik, 100, of North Andover, formerly of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, January 30th, 2011 at the Lawrence General Hospital.

She was born on October 29th, 1910 in Methuen to the late John and Bridget (Prendergast) Crowley. Nora was educated in the local schools and was a parishioner of Saint Laurence O’Tool and Saint Mary’s Church in Lawrence. She worked for Western Electric Company for many years.

Nora enjoyed bowling, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and crocheting. According to her family she loved to walk, she would walk everywhere. She loved her puppies and traveling to California and Las Vegas. She was known to her family as the luckiest woman around, she would win on a scratch ticket and give half of her winnings away and would play again. Nora cared for everyone, she would love to cook and have gatherings with her family, friends and neighbors.

As well as several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Nora was predeceased by all of her siblings.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA.

Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
