Donald C. Grinnell, 89, passed away on Jan. 31, 2011 at Beverly Hospital. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Everett) Grinnell.
Born in Salem, Mass., on Oct. 27, 1921, he was the son of the late Walter and Agnes (Cosman) Grinnell. He was a graduate of Holten High School in Danvers. Donald served his country with the United States Air Force during WWII and was honorably discharged. He was employed as an engineer for many years at New England Power in Salem.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Michael Gregg of Bradford, two grandchildren, Timothy and Rebecca Gregg, a brother Cliff Grinnell of Beverly and a niece and nephew, Cindy and Greg Grinnell.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:30PM on Thurs., Feb. 3, 2011 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Vst. hrs will be held prior to the service from 5PM- 7:30PM.
