Obituary

Spencer: Lillian S. (Boisvert) Berthiaume, 85 of Howe Village died Dec. 23 in the Coes Pond Hospice Residence, Worcester after an illness. Her husband William J. Berthiaume died in 1963, she leaves a son William R. Berthiaume of Canton, Michigan, two daughters Suzanne B. Martin of Brookfield and Joanne L. Bulak of Shrewsbury, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 33 step-great grandchildren & 61 step-great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by a son Paul D. Berthiaume who died while serving his country in the Vietnam War, a sister Anita Bouvier and a brother Raymond Boisvert. Mrs. Berthiaume was born in Marlborough daughter of Arthur and Emma (Bertrand) Boisvert. She was a sales clerk at Boivier Pharmacy in Marlboro before retiring in 1986. Previously Mrs. Berthiaume and her late husband owned and operated Berthiaume's Shoe Store in Spencer. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday Jan. 2 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 58 Maple Street. Burial will be in Mary, Queen of the Rosary cemetery. A Calling hour will be Friday Jan. 2 from 8:30-9:30 AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace. Please omit flowers.
