Paul E. Dechane age 77 of Salem, NH, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Boston, MA. Grew up and was educated in Boston and Methuen, MA. He was a resident of Salem for the past 49 years.
Mr. Dechane was a welder for Process Engineering on Plaistow, NH, where he worked for 48 years. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Lawrence, MA. He was active with the Galahad Boys Organization. He enjoyed puttering around the house, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, Feb. 1st from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
