Phillip R. Hannan, of Duxbury, passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2011. He was 65 years old. Loving husband of Sarah (Flynn) Hannan. Devoted father of Peter R. Hannan of Boston, and Abigail C. Hannan of Brooklyn, NY. Son of the late Maxwell and Grace Hannan. Beloved brother of Gail Duchan of Peterborough, NH, and the late Joyce Belletete. Also survived by niece and nephews Laura Gordon, David Power, and Eric Boudrieau.
Originally from Jaffrey, NH, Phillip was a US Army Vietnam veteran. He recently had acquired his private pilot's license. In addition to flying he enjoyed his long career as a salesman, and loved to paint landscapes, and portraits. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 5th at 1:00 PM at the First Parish Church, 842 Tremont St, Duxbury.
