OXFORD – Lorraine L. (Gosselin) LaPierre, 71, of 44 Charlton St. and formerly of Freemont St., Worcester died Sunday, January 4 in UMASS Memorial Hospital - Memorial Campus.
Her husband Robert A. LaPierre died in 1987. She leaves three sons James R. LaPierre of Worcester, Dennis W. LaPierre of Oxford and Robert A. LaPierre Jr. of Shrewsbury; two daughters Susan M. Burgess of Raynham and Deborah A. Hickson of Oxford; four sisters Marguerite Kewley and Anita Litchfield both of Worcester, Cecile Haire of Shrewsbury and Eleanor Kondracki of Southbridge; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers George, Richard and Robert Gosselin. She was born in Worcester daughter of Ephram T. and Lillian M. (Garceau) Gosselin.
The funeral will be held on Wed, January 7 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a mass at 10 AM in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Tues, January 6 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
