Mary D. (Lopes) Rozario, 76, of Stoughton, formerly of Fall River died January 26, 2011 at Blue Hills Alzheimers Care Center.
Born in Dartmouth, she was the daughter of the late Antone Manuel Lopes and Meceala (Rozario) Lopes.
Mrs. Rozario was an artist, who enjoyed oil painting and wood carving.
She also enjoyed walking and music.
She served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
She is survived by her children, Roland Logan, Lawrence Rogers, and Priscilla Rogers Lee; her siblings, Joaquim and Nancy Lopes, Mary and George Mendes, Joseph and Mary Lopes, Juanita Figueroa, Antone and Mary Lopes, and Hilda Correia; her sister-in-law, Matilda Lopes; her grandchildren, Maria T. Logan, Jared R. Logan, and Cassandra Rogers; and three great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Manuel Lopes, Frank Lopes, Rose Mendes, and Gertrude Nunes.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 12 Noon at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.
