Irene M. Lula, 80, of Manchester died January 3, 2004 in her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on December 22, 1923, she was the daughter of Louis and Martha (Kaufman) Head. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Lula graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1942. She worked for the Manchester Housing Authority for many years.
She was married to Walter Lula who died in 1998.
The family includes three children, Judith A. Buxton of Allenstown, Steve Lula of Hooksett and Susan Barrett of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren; a brother, Louis Head Jr. of Rye; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was celebrated Tuesday January 6, 2003 in the funeral home. Burial of cremated remains was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
