WORCESTER-Helen D. Labovites, 71, of 121 Bailey Road, died Sunday, January 4th in St. Vincent Hospital. She leaves a brother James Labovites of Dennis, a niece and a nephew. A brother Tom Labbs and a sister Esther Beqo predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Vlasis D. and Cleopatra (Panou) Labovites. Miss Labovites was a graduate of Commerce High School, and had worked as a bookkeeper for George Smith and Company, The Highlander Restaurant and Caravan Coffee. She was a member of St. Spyridon Cathedral.
The funeral is Wednesday, January 7th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:30 AM in St. Spyridon Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 6th from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
