Mrs. Marjorie T. Capua, age 90 of Medford died Wednesday in the Winchester Nursing Center in Winchester. She is the wife of the late Guy J. Capua. Mrs. Capua was born in Boston, the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Sullivan) Mahoney. She is a graduate of Winthrop High School, class of 1938. A Medford resident for the past 70 years, she worked as a clerk in the Assessor’s Office for the City of Medford for over 20 years retiring in 1985.
She was talented in crocheting, an avid reader and gardener.
She is survived by a daughter: Kathleen Capua of Medford, a son: Stephen Capua and his wife Maria of Woburn and is the mother of the late Michael Capua. She leaves 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Hart And Andrea McEvoy and a great granddaughter Great Granddaughter, Isabella Hart. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street Medford on Monday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral Mass in St. Raphael’s Church 512 High Street Medford at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
