MASSEY, ALVIN E., 82, passed away on January 24, 2011.
He was a retired employee of Ready Electric Co. where he worked for 34 years, was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Shively Heights Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Estelle (Muse) Massey; his son, Keith Alan Massey; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his sister, Betty Schlatte.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday.
