Mark A. Dwyer, 25, of Malden, MA, formerly of Brockton, MA, January 24, 2011. Mark was born in Columbus, Mississippi to James F. Dwyer and Lois A. McLennan. Shortly following Mark, his brother Eddie and mother settled in Brockton where he spent the better part of his first 16 years. He subsequently moved to and has lived in Malden for the past 7 years.
As a teen and pre-teen Mark, loved to play baseball in Brockton where he achieved all-star status. He was a 2003 graduate of Brockton High School and also attended Massasoit Community College.
Currently Mark was employed as a landscaper for Mikes Landscaping in Malden. He previously worked as a licensed exterminator for N.W. Pest Control of Waltham and as a Supervisor and Warehouse Equipment Operator for the Greater Boston Food Bank.
Mark will be remembered by those who knew him as a hardworking man who struggled to do his best in life. More importantly as a beloved son and one who held a special place in his brother, Eddie’s, heart.
Mark is survived by his parents Lois A. McLennan of Worcester and her partner, Douglas B. Brandt and James F. Dwyer and his wife, Terri Wood-Dwyer of Sutton; his brother Eddie and his wife Jillian (Mahoney) Dwyer and nephew James Gregory Cashman Dwyer of Plymouth; and his Fiance’ Jennifer Keane, of Malden; Grandparents, Eleanor Jean Dwyer of Kingston and Frank and Donna McLennan of Sun City Center, FL; Aunts, Carol McLennan, Thelma Silvey and Pam Dwyer and Uncles, Bill and James McLennan, Ken Silvey and Dan Dwyer; loving cousins, Kevin, Danielle, Dustin and Casey Dwyer and Brittany and Joseph McLennan.
Visitation will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday from 1-3 pm. A funeral home celebration of Mark’s life will follow the visitation at 3pm.
