Obituary

Elizabeth T. “Betty” (Giammasi) Lepro, of Stoughton, formerly of Hyde Park passed away Friday January 2,2004 in Brockton Hospital, after a lengthly illness. She was 88 years old. She was the wife of the late Sullivan J. Lepro.

Born July 11, 1915, in Hyde Park MA. she was the daughter of the late Mr. Antonio and Mrs. Raffaela(Lombardi) Giammasi.

She attended attended Parochial School at The Most Prescious Blood Church in Hyde Park,MA.and later the Girls Trade School in Boston,MA.

After finishing her education, she became a Merchandising Manager at Various companies which included the former Kings Department Store in Canton,MA.

She was a member and attended the Immaculate Conception Church, in Stoughton,MA.

Her hobbies included knitting and cake decorating.

She is survived by her sons: Robert Lepro and his wife Shirley of Braintree,MA.Joseph J. Lepro and his wife Irene of Brockton,MA and Paul P. Lepro and his wife Bridget of Stoughton,MA. Also survived by her sisters: Norina Carini and Ida Baressi both of Hyde Park,MA. She was the sister of the late John, Angelo and Fiore Giammasi. Other survivors include six grand-children, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her good friend: Kay Schuko, of Stoughton

Her funeral will be from the Sheehan Funeral Home , 115 Monk Street, Stoughton on Tuesday January 6,2004 at 8:45 A.M. , followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton at 10:15 A.M. The Pastor Rev. Joseph McDermott officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery,Stoughton.Visiting hours are on Monday January 5,2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.Donations to the charity of ones choice, in Betty’s memory would be appreciated.
