Sandra Prescott Garner, 66, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, January 28, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Annette Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Garner was born August 25, 1944 in Fitzgerald to the late John Clayton and Myrtle Porter Prescott. She lived in Fitzgerald most of her life, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1963. Mrs. Garner was a Certified Nursing Assistant and gave her life caring for other people. She was a member of Pine Level United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: John Carl & Wydene Prescott of Watkinsville, Billy & Alice Prescott and Jerry & Sis Prescott of Fitzgerald; sister and brother-in-law: Shirlie & Robert R. Vilt of San Antonio, TX as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne Creasman and Carlton Garner, sister, Betty Ann Jones and brothers, Robert C. Prescott, Larry Ronald Prescott and Gary Randall Prescott.
