Antonio dos Santos Carramona died Saturday January 3, 2004 at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his widow Mariana “Servia” (Mano) Carramona, of New Bedford, and his daughter Rose Mary Carramona of East Freetown, MA..
Mr. Carramona was the son of Joaquim dos Santos and Rosa (Ribeiro) Carramona. He was born in Praia de Buarcos, Figuieria do Foz, Portugal. Mr Carramona was a commercial fisherman on various fishing vessels in the New Bedford fleet. He was a member of the fisherman union. He was a Sea-Bee in the Navy during World War II.
Mr. Carramona funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 6, 2004 at St. Julie Billiart Church 494 Slocum Rd. North Dartmouth, MA. at 11:30 A.M.
