Carolyn R. Mariano, 44, of Derry, NH died Sunday January 23, 2011 in the Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA. Carolyn was born in Elmhurst, NY on November 20, 1966, daughter of Ronald J. and Maureen (Neubert) Mariano. She was a lifelong resident of Derry and a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1984. Carolyn worked as a nurses aid at Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, NH for many years where she enjoyed caring for the elderly. With her love of animals, she took great interest in the humane society.
She is survived by two sons, Matthew J. Abbott of Derry, Christopher J. Abbott of Gilford, NH, her mother, Maureen (Neubert) Dubois of Derry, Her father, Ronald Mariano, Sr. and his wife Judith of Port Richey, FL, Her Paternal grandmother, Lillian Mariano of Florida, two brothers, Ronald Mariano, Jr. of Manchester, NH, Brian Mariano and his wife Lisa of Manchester, also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Carolyn on Saturday January 29, 2011 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry.
