WORCESTER-Ethel G. (Williams) Brown, 83, of Worcester, died Monday, January 24th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Deacon Reno T. Brown, died in 2005. She leaves her sister, Morrie Johnson of Worcester; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Linsey and Henry Williams and two sisters, Mildred Witten and Marianna Richutti.
Mrs. Brown was born in Hephzibah, GA, the daughter of Linsey and Ethel (Wiley) Williams. She was a hairdresser and had also been employed by BF Goodrich and Brown Shoe. Mrs. Brown was a member of Second Baptist Church.
The funeral is Friday, January 28th with a service at 11:00 AM in Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. A calling hour is from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday in the church. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
