Gregson “Greg” R. Sewell, 47, of Matamoras, Pennsylvania and formerly of Franklin and Foxboro died tragically January 18 in a house fire at his home.
Born in Norwood, March 31, 1963, the son of Jacqueline (Ruggles) Sewell of Attleboro and DeLeon Springs, Florida and the late Robert Sewell, Mr. Sewell had lived in Franklin and Foxboro for most of his life prior to moving to Pennsylvania five years ago.
Mr. Sewell was a self employed blacksmith who specialized in corrective shoeing of horses.
Greg loved to fish, shoot pool; train harness horses, play golf and his two dogs.
Greg was the brother of the late Robert Sewell III. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his uncles, James Sewell and his wife Caroline of Franklin, Franklin Sewell of Plainville and his aunt, Barbara Nagle and her husband Greg Hodde of Attleboro.
He is also survived by many cousins.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 29 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 1:00p.m.
Burial will be in Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.
