John W. Greenbeck, age 100, died Saturday January 22, 2011 at his home in Parkville. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Louise Greenbeck (NEE Walker) and Hilda G. Greenbeck (NEE Berkowsky-Ortman). He was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children J. E. "Bush" Greenbeck and his wife Lee and Paul W. Greenbeck and his wife Judy Lalingo, grandson Eric G. Greenbeck , great grandchildren Julian and Makayla and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Greenbeck worked as a Printer and Compositor for a number of Baltimore firms and retired in 1980 from The Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C.. During WWII he was a Aerial Engineer in the Army Air Corps with thae rank of SSgt. In his later years John was a member of The American Legion; Hamilton Post #20.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, January 28, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. All are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 29 in St Ursula Catholic Church at 10 A.M. Interment in gardens of Faith Cemetery.
