Clara Aleese Bryan Daley, 92, of Tifton died Monday, January 24, 2011, at Tift Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2011 in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Edward Rewis will officiate with burial to follow at Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Ed Bryan, Milton Thompson, Ashley Roig, Kyle Caulder, Leon Garren, Jr. and Mark Myers will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Daley was born on July 14, 1918 in Tift County and was the daughter of William Smedly Bryan and Clara Schneider Bryan, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernis Murrell Daley; three brothers, William L. Bryan, Wilson S. Bryan and Yancey Lee Bryan, Sr.; and three sisters, Minnie B. Lutrell, Doris Bryan and Fannie B. Massey. She was a homemaker and a member and faithful church worker of Springhill Baptist Church in Tifton. She had lived in Tift County most of her life.
Mrs. Daley is survived by two sons, Rev. William B. Daley, Sr. and Rev. Robert Irvin Daley, both of Tifton; one grandson, Rev. William B. Daley, Jr.; ten nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
