WORCESTER-Ann G. Houlihan, 81 formerly of Arlington Street, Auburn died Saturday, January 3rd in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center. She leaves 2 sisters Mary T. wife of Algerdi Buividas of Salem, NH and Eleanor wife of Alfred Bakanowski of Reading, PA, many nephews and nieces. 2 brothers Joseph P. and John F. Houlihan predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Jeremiah and Nora (O’Reilly) Houlihan. Miss Houlihan was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School. She had at one time worked as a payroll supervisor for Rockwood Sprinklers and later for the U.S. Postal Service as a supervisor. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church and the Guild of Our Lady of Providence.
The funeral is Tuesday, January 6th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 929 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 9:00 until 10:30 AM the day of the funeral.
