MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA: John L. Sigrist, 72, passed away January 16, 2011 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Miriam (Morton) Sigrist, who died in December of 1973.
Born in New York, New York on February 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Alexander and Evelyn F. (Jacobi) Sigrist. Although he was a resident of Cape Ann for over forty years, he was still a New Yorker at heart.
He is survived by his daughter, Allison Sigrist and daughter-in-law, Amanda Johnston of Boston.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be held privately.
