FALL RIVER … Leo A. Gomez, 67, of Fall River passed away January 12, 2011 at Kimwell Nursing Home.
He was born in Fall River, a son of the late Manuel and the late Serena (Ramos) Gomez and had lived most of his life in this city.
He served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
Mr. Gomez enjoyed bowling and trips to Foxwoods and Las Vegas.
Survivors include a daughter: Linda Gomez of Fall River, 3 sons: David Gomez of Westport, Stephen Gomez of Fall River and Robert Gomez of Fall River, 1 sister: Frances Rogers of Little Compton, RI, 3 brothers: Leonard Gomez of Fall River, Richard Gomez of Little Compton, RI, and Albert Gomez of Little Compton, RI, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday at 7:45 PM at the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River. Memorial visitation Thursday 5 - 7:45 PM.
