Lakeville – Katherine A. (Place) Fish, 88, of Lakeville, formerly of New Bedford, died after a long illness on January 2, 2004 at the Island Terrace Nursing Home. She was the widow of Albert G. Fish.
She was born in New Bedford daughter of the late Charles A. and Katherine (Mastera) Place and lived in New Bedford most of her life, residing in Lakeville for the past 2 years. She was a member of East Freetown Congregational Christian Church, E. Freetown.
Mrs. Fish enjoyed going on cruises and bowling.
Survivors include 2 sons: Alan B. Fish of Tarpon Springs, FL and David H. Fish of New Bedford; a daughter: Judith E. Kron of Randolph, NJ; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
She was mother of the late Bryant W. Fish.
