In Raynham, January 19, 2011 Barbara (Lincoln) wife of the late Herbert A. Pero died at Life Care Center in Raynham at the age of 89. Born in Taunton, Barbara was the daughter of the late Leon and Sarah (White) Lincoln. Barbara was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1939 and Bentley Secretary School in Boston. She worked as a Teller at Mechanics Cooperative Bank on Bay Street and for the former Taunton Rivet Works. Barbara was a former member of the Eastern Star, Mother Advisory of Taunton Rainbow Girls and enjoyed knitting, painting, gardening and bird watching. Barbara was the mother of Janet Pratt and her husband Nelson of Lakeville, Valerie Langille and her husband David of Lakeville and Lincoln Pero of Providence, RI. Grandmother of Brian Langille, Christopher Langille, Katlyn Ellis, Sarah and Jeffrey Pratt. Great Grandmother of three. Sister of the late Norma Whitherell, Ruth Campbell and Cynthia Griffin. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday, January 22nd from 9:30 to 11 am. A service will be held at the funeral home at 11 am after the calling hours. Interment Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
