Obituary


Carmen Monique (Theberge) Therrien age 80 died Tuesday January 18, 2011 in West Bridgewater after a lengthy illness. She was born August 2, 1930 in Auburn, Maine a daughter of the late Alphonse and Pamela (Poulin) Theberge. She moved to Middleboro as a young woman and then to Brockton where she lived for most of her life.
Carmen was a professional piano player in the Brockton area and loved singing French songs. She had worked for Dodge-Murphy Photography Studios for many years and had been a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
She is survived by her twin daughters Jeanne Julian of California and Jeannette Pitts and her husband Bruce and two sons Raymond Hamel and his wife Fran and Donald Therrien and his wife Kristyn. She leaves her sister Jeannette Beaudoin of Maine; seven grandchildren Nicole and Michelle Pitts, Shaina Rae Julian, Connor and Jack Therrien, Marc Hamel and the late Jason Hamel, a great grandson Jack Jason Hamel,many nieces, nephews and special friends.

Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Friday 4-7 pm. Funeral procession forming at the funeral home Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial will be at a later date in Maine.
