Cecelia Morgan McCain, 47, of Pope, MS died at her home January 18, 2011. She was born to Samuel Edward and Mary Elizabeth Allred McCain in Water Valley, MS and worked as a professional painter. Cecelia enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, boating, and spending time with family and friends. She had a special gift for drawing and poetry, and was a member of Taylor Baptist Church in Taylor, MS.
Services are planned for 2 PM Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until service time with Bro. Howard Beam and Bro. Randy Cox officiating. Burial will be in Yocona Cemetery in Taylor, MS with Steve Shuffield, Alan Hunter, Brian Henning, Joel Person, Josh Parish, and Sidney Shoffner serving as pallbearers. Terri Dearborn will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Cecelia is survived by her life partner of 22 years, Vickie Reid of Pope, MS; her father, Sam McCain of Pope, MS; and one sister, Cynthia Marie McCain of Memphis, TN.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth McCain and her brother, Clyde Lee McCain.
