Obituary


Manchester– Mary C. (Piecuch) Pepek, 96, died January 17, 2011 at Villa Crest Nursing & Retirement Community following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on July 26, 1914 the daughter of John and Caroline (Jaworski) Piecuch.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Manchester working many years in the Merner Shoe Company.
She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Polish National Cathedral and a member of numerous clubs and organizations such as the Holy Trinity Cathedral Seniors, the Konopnicki Society, and the Woman’s A.N.S. Society.
Mary will be remembered as a caring person who enjoyed reading and cooking. She especially loved to work outside in her numerous beautiful flower gardens and was so happy to give horticultural advice to anyone who asked. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Adolph Pepek on August 23, 2000.
In Her Life: Family members include two nieces, Nancy Piecuch Axt of Spring, TX., Carol Palmer Ryder of Manchester, three nephews, John Piecuch, John Oparowski, both of Manchester, Stanley J. Garczynski of Ft. Myers, FL., three grand nephews, Michael, Matthew, Bryce, and three grand nieces, Ava, Brenna, and Sandra. She was predeceased by two sisters, Julia Oparowski, Josephine Garczynski, and a brother, Walter Piecuch.
Services: Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. Manchester. A funeral mass will be on Friday at 9 AM in Holy Trinity Cathedral, 166 Pearl St. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holy Trinity PNC Cathedral Restoration Fund, 166 Pearl St. Manchester, NH 03104.
