Beloved mother of Karen Keene and her husband Lawrence of Burlington, Patricia Buckley of Chelsea, Michael Rossetti of East Boston and Richard Rossetti and his wife Ana of Wilmington. Sister of John Carron of Chelsea and the late Theresa Alden and George Carron. Cherished grandmother of Corey Keene and his wife Lisa, Kerri Mahoney and her husband Chris, James Buckley and his wife Julie, Christina Follis and her husband Peter, Amanda Rossetti and her fiance James, Crystal Rossetti and her fiance Patrick and Maria and Kayla Rossetti. Also lovingly survived by 4 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Friday, January 21 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, Chelsea at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. A life long resident of Chelsea until moving to Burlington 10 years ago, Rita at 77 years of age, passed away at the Kindred Hospital of the North Shore Monday morning after a long illness. An employee of Metropolitan Credit Union for over 25 years, she worked her way up at the institution, and was a branch manager when she retired. After moving to Burlington, she worked as a receptionist for Pediatric and Family Dentistry of Woburn retiring in 2007.
