Patricia K. (Donnelly) Clarke, 83, a resident of Dracut, MA, died on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
She was born in Lawrence, MA on March 17, 1927 to Francis H. and Estelle B. (DeForge) Donnelly. She attended St. Rita's Grammar School and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lawrence. Patricia received her L.P.N. from the Leonard School and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at various nursing facilities, the last being the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
As a young girl she enjoyed indoor roller skating, swimming, and card playing. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and also enjoyed taking day trips. Patricia also enjoyed her time at the Methuen Senior Center.
She is the wife of the late: Robert T. Clarke, survivors include her son: James R. Cook Jr. of Salisbury, MA, her daughter; Kathleen P. Cook of Methuen, MA, her son; Robert T. Clarke, Jr. of Houston, TX, daughters: Donna Clarke Roy of Houston, TX, Judy Clarke Mailloux of Haverhill, MA, and Brenda Clarke White of Lawrence, MA. Patricia is also survived by three sisters: Olive Kasouf, Marilyn Donnelly, and Eleanor Ruffen all of Methuen, MA, as well as 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is predeceased by her son: John G. Cook, her brother: Francis Donnelly, and her sister: Estelle Emmott.
A Funeral sevice will take place on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
