Funeral Services for Frances McLeod, age 79 of Ashburn will be held Wednesday at 2:00 P. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McLeod died Sunday, January 16, 2011, at her residence after a long illness.
Mrs. McLeod was a native of Jasper, FL the daughter of the late John & Erie Phillips Bonnell. She was a retired seamstress and had been a resident of Ashburn since 1969 and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, Ashburn, Ga.
She is survived by her husband Maurice McLeod, Ashburn, and her children Andre (Diane) McLeod, Ashburn, Fred (Barbara) McLeod, Cordele, Myra (Ronnie) Windham, Ashburn, Cynthia Purcell, Chula, and Carolyn McLeod, Ashburn, and her brother Mac Bonnell, Pensacola, FL. and Twelve Grandchildren and Twenty One Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at Perry Funeral Chapel.
