Paul C. McKay, 69

Paul C. McKay, 69 of Dedham formerly of Roslindale passed away peacefully on Sunday January 16, 2011 at the Spaulding Cambridge Rehabilitation Hospital in Cambridge.
Born in Boston, MA on December 18, 1941 he was a loving son of the late Frederick E. and Catherine (LeBlanc) McKay.
Paul grew up and was educated in the Roxbury section of Boston. From June 17,1960 - May 21, 1962 he proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of Private First Class.
Prior to retiring, Mr. McKay had been employed as an Assembler for the Polaroid Corporation in Norwood for 21 years. For the past 15 years he had made his home in Dedham and had formerly resided in Roslindale for many years. Paul enjoyed the many wonderful times spent in the presence of his adoring family.
He was the dear brother of Marguerite Lawler of Foxboro and the late Catherine Anderson, Melvin McKay, Dorothy Kelly, Harvey McKay, Mildred Toomey, Frederick McKay and Robert McKay. Paul is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday January 20th at 10:00 A.M. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Visiting hours are omitted and due to the limitation of flowers allowed at the National Cemetery, his family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans 17 Court St. Boston, MA 02108 or the Dana- Farber Cancer Institute 44 Binney St. Boston, MA 02115.
