Vestal Pearl Burkett Files, age 90, of West Green, GA passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, at Summers Landing Retirement home in Douglas GA. Mrs Files, a native of Coffee County GA was born November 18, 1920; she is the daughter of the late John Marion and Emma Martin Burkett and she is the widow of the late Cecil Files. She is a member of Burkett Baptist Church in West Green GA. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Burkett Baptist Church with Burial in the Burkett Church Cemetery, West Green GA. The Family will receive friends on Sunday; calling hours are 6:00 PM Until 9:00 PM. Survivors include: Daughter, Linda (Lavonne) Moon, Buena Vista GA, Grandchildren: Don (Susie) Hamilton, Jr. , Nicholls GA, Jerry Hamilton, Douglas GA, Kerry Moon, Columbus GA, Brian (April) Moon, Buena Vista GA, Jan (Jerome) Day, Broxton GA, Seven Great Grandchildren, Thirteen Great-great Grandchildren.
