Alice (Souza) Cabral, age 85, of Somerset, passed away Jan. 14, 2011. She was the wife of the late John Cabral and the daughter of the late Jacinto & the late Lydia (Soares) Souza. Prior to retiring, Alice was a Seamstress for many years for the former Anderson Little Mfg. Co. She was a communicant of St. John of God Church and a member of the I.L.G.W.U.
Alice was the mother of John Cabral (wife Marleen) and Carol A. Pacheco (husband Robert) both of Somerset, grandmother of Kristen Magas and Kyle Cabral, great grandmother of Casey & Jackson Magas, sister of the late Mary Reis, Gilda McMullen, and Louise Gaspar, and aunt to several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on WEDNESDAY with calling hours from 8:30-9:30 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum.
