Leonard, Isabelle C. (MacFarlane) Jan 13, of Holiday, FL and a summer resident of Marshfield, at her daughter’s home. Beloved wife of the late Harry M. Leonard Sr. Loving mother of Harry M. Leonard Jr. and his wife Donna of Venice, FL. Joan M. Leonard of Marshfield, James A. Leonard and his wife Lori of Danbury, CT. and the late Paul A. Leonard of Danbury, CT. Grandmother of Jennifer Leonard of Boston and Harry M. Leonard III of Annapolis, MD. Sister of the late Jessie Doris, Marie Turner and John MacFarlane. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Isabelle was born in Boston, and was raised in the Braintree Highlands; she graduated from Braintree High School class of 1938 and also attended the Remington Rand Business School in Boston. After marrying Harry the couple moved to Danbury, CT and in 1970 became winter residents of Florida moving permanently to Holiday Florida 16 years ago. Isabelle has summered in Marshfield for 70 years. She was a retired secretary for the Danbury, CT. public schools. She enjoyed traveling, in particular going on cruises. Isabelle was a member of the Emblem Club in Danbury, CT, the SocialBells Card Group in Holiday, FL, and volunteered for the Gulfside Regional Hospice in Florida.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Jan 19, at 9:00 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Careswell St Marshfield.
