Ellen Patricia “Pat” (Tatro) Gay, of Manomet, died peacefully at home on January 13th at the age of 93. The beloved wife of the late Henry Leland Gay, she is survived by her children Lawrence and wife Carol Gay, Catherine Gay, Patricia Jacobs, Margaret and her husband Dean Karoblis, Christopher and wife Donna Gay and Elizabeth “Betsy” Gay all of Plymouth, William and his wife Kathleen Gay of Brockton and the late Robert Gay. She also leaves 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ellen was born in Springfield to the late Lawrence and Lillian (Knightly) Tatro and graduated from St. Patrick’s in Brockton. She was a member of St. Bonaventure’s Church and the Bonnie Seniors and volunteered for Cranberry Hospice. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 16th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bonaventure’s Church on Monday, January 17th at 10 AM followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations in her memory be made to Fund for the Needy, St. Bonaventure’s Church, P.O Box 996, Manomet, MA 02345 or the Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Cir Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
