Victoria M. (Glinski) Ward, 99 years, died Wednesday morning at the Embassy House Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Brockton after a period of failing health. She was born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late Felix and Teofilia (Anusewicz) Glinski and was a graduate of Brockton High School. She had been employed as a fancy stitcher for many years for various shoe manufacturing companies in Brockton and had been the Recording Secretary for the Brotherhood Shoe and Allied Craftsmen Union for 29 years. She was a member of the 3rd Order of St. Francis of Assissi, and had been a longtime communicant of both St. Edith Stein and St. Colman Churches.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John (Arlene) McDonald of West Wareham, MA and Mrs. John (Madeline) Reilly of Englewood, FL, one son Warren E. Ward of Englewood, FL, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Warren L. Ward and sister of the late Felix Glinski, Bliss Glinski and Blanche Kerr.
Her Funeral Service will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
