WEBSTER – Samuel A. Leo, 90, of Christoper Heights, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Webster Manor after a short illness.
He leaves a brother, Joseph F. Leonetti, and a sister, Malle M. Stasko, both of Webster; and several nephews and nieces.
He was born in Webster, son of Frank and Mildred (D’Andrea) Leo, and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1938 and attended Becker Business College in Worcester.
Mr. Leo first worked at the American Optical Company in Southbridge. He then worked in the finishing department at Bates Shoe Company, retiring as a foreman.
He was a member of Saint Louis Church.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 15, at 10:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Burial will be in Saint Anthony’s Cemetery. A calling period will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
